The revolutionary speeches given during the tournament exposed the lack of facilities and poor infrastructure not only in the field of sports but in all other fields of life. On the night of May 5, 2007 a cricket tournament was organized by Berozgaar Nojawaan Tehreek (BNT), in the Mazang area of Lahore. There were eight teams included in the tournament from different towns of Lahore. The tournament started at about 7:00 pm. A large number of youth was present in the Waris cricket ground to enjoy this activity. The tournament started with a speech by comrade Adam Pal. During his speech he welcomed all the participant teams on the behalf of Berozgaar Nojawaan Tehreek (BNT). He discussed the lack of facilities and poor infrastructure not only in the field of sports but in all other fields of life. He further emphasized what unemployment is, its causes and how it can be solved. Then he explained the role of the BNT, its purpose and its ultimate goals. At the end of the speech the enthusiastic youth raised slogans. After comrade Adam's speech comrade Zohaib But talked about the rules of the cricket tournament. A large number of spectators were present at the grounds. Comrade Adeel and Ali Jaan took the duty of commentary. During the tournament they also commented about the miseries and difficulties and problems caused by the capitalist system which got applause from the crowd. During the tournament seven matches were played in two rounds along with a final which ended at nearly 3:40 a.m. The winner was awarded the BNT Cup while a trophy was also given to the runners up. At the end of the tournament it was announced that the BNT will organize more cricket tournaments and cultural activities not only in Lahore but throughout the country. All the participant teams ensured their participation and full support to the BNT. The tournament ended with the singing of revolutionary songs by the participants.
