On 11 December, a nationwide general strike has been called in Portugal, that has the potential to paralyse the country. As Portuguese capitalism is wracked with crisis, the bosses are further intensifying the exploitation of the Portuguese working class. The general strike must go further than modest demands, it must mark the beginning of a campaign to bring down the regime itself, and the entire capitalist system!

From 22 to 23 November, our best congress to date took place in Wrocław. With over 50 participants, including guests from the Revolutionary Communist International (RCI), it was the largest, most inspiring, and most professional event we have ever organised.

On the weekend of 8-9 November, the Organización Comunista Revolucionaria (OCR), the Spanish section of the RCI, held its first national Marxist School in Madrid. It was a great success. This marks an important step in the development of our section as it was the first time that we have held two major national events in the same year.
